Statistics of Law Societies
The Law Societies' Statistics are research documents which gather statistics on the membership of Law Societies, number of law firms, insurance, fees, compensation fund and discipline. The statistics are provided to the Federation by the Law Societies on a yearly basis. The information is for the period of January 1 to December 31 or as otherwise indicated.

  • The word lawyer sometimes includes notary.
  • The grammar used is not always gender neutral.
  • D/A means Does not apply
  • N/A means Not available
  • The statistics are sometimes provided in approximate numbers.
  • The Federation conducts research on other subjects that refer to Law Societies.
