Council Member representing the Law Society of Upper Canada
Thomas G. Conway was appointed a Council member by the Law Society of Upper Canada in November 2007. He practices civil litigation in Ottawa and is a partner in Cavanagh Williams Conway Baxter LLP. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in English and History from the University of Calgary, and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa in 1987. Tom was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1989.
Tom was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada in May 2007 and sits on several law society committees. He is a former President of the County of Carleton Law Association, a member of the Council of the Ontario Bar Association and a member of the Advocates Society.
