Mike is a practicing lawyer with and partner of McDougall Gauley in Regina, Saskatchewan. He received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 1980. He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 1981 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001.
Mike has a varied commercial practice, with a particular emphasis on banking law, secured transactions, insolvency and financial restructuring (including related litigation).
Mike served as President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2002 and as President of the Saskatchewan Lawyers Insurance Association in 2000 and 2001.
